The University of South Dakota football program begins its fall camp this Friday, Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. in the DakotaDome.
The first practice basically involves players reporting, coaches giving out initial instructions, followed by an hour-long walk-through.
USD, which begins its third year at the Division I FCS level this season, will hold 25 practices before the season begins Sept. 4 at Central Florida.
The Coyotes, 5-5 last season, return 14 starters and 43 letterwinners to a team that came within a dropped interception of a Great West Conference title in 2009.
