MMC Rewriting Record Books

As Mount Marty prepares for the Great Plains Athletic Conference baseball tournament, which begins Thursday in Mitchell, here’s a look at what they’ve accomplished so far.

They are 34-13, and one more win will tie the school record for victories in a season. Former coach Bob Tereshinski would be quick to point out that the 35 wins that year came with just five losses.

Here are a few of the individual records that have gone, or may go by the wayside this season. For more on the Lancers, see Thursday’s Press & Dakotan.

The record holder, or former record holder, is in parenthesis, along with the year the record was set.
