The Yankton Bucks looked great defensively in the season opener, allowing a negative-32 yards rushing to Rapid City Central in the 36-3 victory Saturday.
They also sported an old look made new, breaking out black jerseys for the first time in nearly 30 years. At the Yankton Quarterback Club on Wednesday, Coach Arlin Likness stated that, for the rest of the season, the black jersey will be worn as a traveling jersey only, not a game jersey.
