TGIF Linkage 03/20

Sorry for the delay today. But here we go (with a special March Madness feel).

** Just a quick note: Yours truly has joined the Twitter phenomenon. You can read my page right here. I’m hoping to give updates during games/events that I cover for the P&D.

** Did you watch Ben Woodside and North Dakota State take on Kansas in the NCAA Tournament today? Dude dropped 37 points, but the Bison lost by 10. The senior point guard was featured in a story by his hometown Albert Lea (Minn.) newspaper.

** Ever wonder how NCAA Tournament teams got their nicknames?

** One of my favorite parts of March Madness is hearing CBS play-by-play man Gus Johnson yell. The following video shows you what I mean. Speaking of Johnson, he was broadcasting the NDSU-Kansas game.

** For Andy Samberg — of SNL fame — fans like myself, the news that he will be hosting the 2009 MTV Movie Awards is awesome.

** Hey, A-Rod, decisions like this definitely won’t help your image, FYI.

TGIF Recommended Tune

Yet another song that I heard on the radio while driving around town this week. It’s called “18 Days” by Saving Abel. Enjoy.
