TGIF Linkage 02/27

** First, a quick shoot-out to Ben, the owner of Ben’s Brewing Co. I highly recommend you come down and check it out.

** Need a good laugh today? Well, here’s a video of Conan O’Brien playing old-time baseball, circa 1864. Hilarious.

** If you had to guess who the highest-paid private university employee in the country is, who would it be? If you said USC football coach Pete Carroll, you win.

** Citing budgetary concerns, the University of Northern Iowa is eliminating its baseball program. Although, there is a catch. If the team can raise $1.2 million by April, the program stays.

** Here’s the thing: I don’t like Duke basketball. I just don’t. I have good friends who do, and more power to them for staying with a team. But the video below is why I can’t stand Duke: They get calls other teams wouldn’t dream of.

** High school basketball player in Indiana scores 11 points in the final 46.1 seconds to send his team to the win. What a finish.

TGIF Recommended Tune
